Thought of a new look for my blog so I decided to give it a change of my blog look for this year. Yesterday went to PLC for lifeguard course selection and I passed the first phase of it. Go there do some swim and then trap water for 10 minutes and pass the test.
2 weeks of stay out if I manage to get into this course. For stay out! I will pass this selection!

Just last week I had off in lieu and a long weekend. Now this coming week I will be having another long weekend from monday to thursday. Woots! Block leave!
The recruits POP on this Saturday after completing their 24km route march. Then the week after our block leave will be our man coming into support company. Time to handle our own man.
Good news for this year is that our 2nd year commander gonna come into unit in march. That means soon we can handle over the man to them. This month gonna pass quickly. Now only left the tough part, doing training with man and going for ISPC

To 2012, left only like 15 minute, so 2011 has been a good experience for me. Learn to drive, never slim down that much coz I'm just purely too lazy to train, went through shit times with comrades, had a fallen comrade, enjoyed times with family and friends. Well, 2012 would be a wonderful year for me. ORD in 2012!!!! This is far more exciting than anything else. The mayans state that the world ending in 2012. Come on, I have not enjoy the best part of my life yet!

Woots! Long weekend for me!!!! On the way back home now, book in by the next wednesday 2300. Awesome! For 2012, this means a good start. This coming week is the recruits POP, heard from superiors that we no need march 24km. Hope it is true.

On my way back to camp now. Doing guard duty on christmas day isn't that bad after all since I am able to get my off on tuesday. So doesn't really matter to me. The only sad thing I am going to miss this year gift exchange.

Going for life guard course soon in the army. People like me who suck at running but good at swimming are chosen for this course. Well, not bad for me since I heard it is going to be a stay out course. Hope that I will get to stay out for two weeks.

The less time I stay in unit means that the faster it is for the time to pass. Now left only like 7 more months to get out. Can't wait....

Back to blogging again, finally 14 days of field camp in tekong was over. Everyone came back with the shag look in their faces. It was like we been through a war. 4 days of mission. Then at the last day do swamp walk. Swamp walking in tekong was no joke, my boots just went deep into the mud and I had to crawl through the swamp. Pants changed from green colour to black colour. Then, there is a foul stench from the swamp. So we came back with smelly pants and boots.
Amazingly in Tekong there is hot spring! So after the swampwalk we went to the spring and have a wash up. We went back to camp leaving the waters dirty.

Next week will be my 15 days field camp at tekong! That would mean 15 days of sh*t and starvation. After field camp I will be having my christmas guard duty! Yeah! So basically my whole december weekends are burned.
On the brighter note, they pay back all those burnt weekends with off in lieu so at least it is not that bad afterall.

What a hectic month it is for december, sigh.....

Not sure whether this is sad news a not. Next year taiwan army trip was cancelled which means I am not going to taiwan or brunei and I shall be in singapore. Is it I lucky or not , I skipped all my overseas trip and next year june we will be having army open house. (Means doing exhibition no exercise) Perhaps luck plays a vital role in my life. Maybe come to think about it, my army life wasn't as bad as all. Well to me I am considered lucky. Lady Luck is returning back to me. The year of eating beef will eventually come. Muhahaha

Puss in boots was a nice movie! Though meant for kids to watch but it was really cute. Haha, laugh out loud along with my sister while watching the show. Overall rating for the show I give it a 8.5/10. Effects and audio, I give it a 9/10. Cuteness and hilarious I give it a 10/10. Well, I watch shrek because of puss in boots, so how bad can it be.

The world is full of selfish people I shall say. These people only think about themselves and don't give a damn about other people else feelings or thoughts and thus they have very low EQ. They are very straight forward people, words just came out from their mouth without thinking. Being a straight forward person, people would just hate you and end up you become their enemy.

Sometimes even the toughest person would cried and I witness it. It was just this recruit who made me feel that I should be contented with what I am having now. He looks ordinary and is always motivated to get his job done but no one knows anything about him until he shares it. People seldom talk to one another and there is little you know about the person until he opens out his heart to you. I talk to this recruit during an interview and he told me that his father passed away 6 years ago and his mother is the sole breadwinner. He has two sisters. When mentioned about his grandmother, he cried in front of me. His grandmother stays in old folks home and I could tell that he is very attached to his grandmother and his mother. To others, man who cries are weak. But to me, a man who cries shows that he is courageous and is a man with pride. He told me he wants to sign on as guards, I told him to continue on pursue his dream and aim high, get a degree and be an officer, make his parents proud of him. To me, its an experience. It is not the country that I protecting for but for the family that I am fighting for

This will be my 2nd trip to changi general hospital. Zzz this place is cold and the air is bad. Needa go to hospital coz my recruits got so many medical problems. One sprained in the neck, the other one even more POWER genital area soreness. Both of them were send to A&E for treatment and I had to escort them.
And now I had to just sit and wait for the recruit to finish his consultation. Waiting..........

There's a sudden surge of anger in me. It is just so sudden, I felt like I am going to explode. I have no idea what had happen, but I am just holding back, controlling my temper, suppressing it.

Today, I get the chance to toy with some recruits. Make them wake up at 2am, kick their door and shout at them. All look so stunt. Then, they are punished again for lack of urgency. After that had a 5km route march to changi beach which we make them bindfolded and roll over sandy beaches, make them crawl through sand and touch our boots. Evil enough but we had this to ensure the standards of our men.
Then, we move into the shore and soak our bodies with seawater. In the end our boots were all filled with seawater. That's almost all for today, on my way home now

I had to book in early just because of one fellow in my camp who can't hold his anger. He is a sort of person who grumble and doesn't do things and yet he ask for welfare. Thanks to his low anger tolerance, all of us book in early. Why people just don't think, arguing with each other does that benefit you? Just tolerate it and let it go. Just only 10 more months to ORD why make it hard for us.

Today had a great day, met cherie at 12pm to buy movie tickets (Time in) at Jp. Marcus brought along his friend shawn to join us. Shermin came along with her sporty attire holding a yellow volley ball with her hand. Apparently, it looks like she walk around jp with her yellow volley ball. (呵呵)
Xp brought along 3 friends and was late for movie.
After the movie, went to SP for captain ball game at T11A. Quite a few of the facilities in SP has changed after I left SP for about nearly 2 years. Starbucks at fc5, burger king and new stalls at fc3, new T11B and T11C building. It felt memorable somehow.
During the game, saw the SP female security guard (always come to Sp library ask us to keep quiet.) Haha.
After the game, gabriel join for dinner while I had to go home and prepare for booking in tonight.

All right, I am fed up. What's with this random preacher guy by the name of Camping saying he predicted 21st october 2011 would be doomsday. I read the news and I was like what nonsense how can I die in the camp! I haven't even book out yet! I am still in camp!
Come on! if there is a dooms day, please make it next year after I ORD! At least I die without regrets. Even if I wana die I wana finished settling stuffs that I have not done yet.
There are still many things I have not done yet, if there is really an end to this world, I want to die with glory together with my loved ones. Definitely not in camp!

Today is nights out day, usually what we guys do is plain simple, go to tampiness mall or tampiness 1 have a dinner, then go ntuc fair price to buy some junk food to stock up reserves in the bunk or go for late night movies, play lan games somewhere at simpang bedok there. Do some sight seeing and then return back to our camp. Army guys usual routine.

Ju§t a random thought which somehow I remember,
Why do kena being a lightbulb between couples?????? I just freaking don't get it. I could still remember vividly in poly year two last time I was doing some lab report with sook ee. Then her boyfriend came and sit beside me and ended up all three of us do a report. During that time I felt damn awkward. (That's being lightbulb once!)
And then before that during year one, I was stuck between aloysius and priscilla. Oh god, please that one was even terrible, same thing, same awkwardness do lab report but this time round pris chap in to help aloysius in his report.

Above example which leads to some questioning! Where is my lab report third member???!
Third is I sitting in mrt train with the couple cherie and shao yong after all left, sitting in the train and errm felt awkward again coz like no convo to talk about (Light bulb thrice).
I think I should be more cautious of such couples to minimize awkwardness or I just get a girlfriend to counter it.

Singapore jobs are so limited.
In the area that I am going to study which is life science, jobs created for people who study science is too little. Even if research industries do hire researchers, they would prefer a person with at least a phd.
There is little path for me to go into especially when I'm studying science for my degree. Maybe I could work in AVA, water technology, teaching field, chemical plants, research industries after I graduate.
Or I could change field, but most likely that wouldn't happen.

最近的電影這麼搞的，沒有一部是好的。想要去看但又沒有想要看的，真是無聊透頂。
這個月的零用錢拿到了，區區幾百而已，連逛街買東西都不夠。咳，兩年生活就像一群孟加拉外勞來打工似的。錢不夠花，沒自由，天天曬的黑淒淒的，身邊的夥伴都是男的，住的地方又像是動物園，有圍牆避免動物跑走，有攝像機24小時盯這你看，有警衛24小時巡邏。
這樣的生活現象只有兩個子能形容，那就是【淒涼】。
好了，該睡覺了。

我發現我的華語退步了，時常用英文來說話會使我的華語變得越來越差。所以，我打算用華語來博客。
今天的体操跟作天一模一樣，不就是跑步，就是累人的 push up, chin up, crunches. 西北累！下午，就幫忙搬東西，打理辦公室的垃圾。
日子就像苦力般的生活。
今天禮拜五的，但大家無法出兵營。太無聊了！明天才可以出兵營，這令我太納悶了。

好久沒有博客了，
在回到兵營的第一個星期里，我接受了魔鬼般的訓練。第一天，我就做了30下引提向上，跑了5公里，還有做其他另我汗流浹背的訓練。噢我的天！才一次訓練，我身體完完全全開時痠痛。連續做了3天，我看我的身体快要癱瘓了，可以準備要住在加護病房里了。
難道我的運氣有那麼差嗎？非得要我在這兩年內受近百般折磨？（我只吃一點牛肉，雞蛋糕，難道就不行嗎？）
要我在來臨的體能考試里拿金牌，是完全是不可能的事。短短兩個星期就要我拿金？這比登天還難。你以為我是孫悟空啊！
會72變？
看樣子我的身體的一天比一天退化。天啊，痛苦的日子什麼是后過。。。

I am getting healthier each day during this CAT term. One thing for sure, there so many awesome food around in our canteen. Cheese fries was one of the hot topic. Left last activity to go and that's summary exercise! After that I will passed out as a sergeant and wear my jungle hat. Some of my bunkmates felt that wearing it would have the sense of pride but to me it is just a normal hat or an accessory. I just want to get out of army as fast as possible. Yesterday meet up with bryan, jee hui, xp, cherie, gaya, thad, macus, chin how for dinner. Dinner was supposingly to be at carls junior. But there was too many people. So ended up we switch to fish and co, fish and co also full, so we walked further down and ended up in tcc. Spend almost an hour or so looking for a dinning area (-_-").
Then eat and had a chat, bryan is going brunei soon, shermin, jeehui, xp and cherie going genting during september and gaya going overseas adventure near end of september.

After a week in outfield I found myself lighter, weight loss made me feel unhealthy. Next week even better walk for 60 kilometers made me even slimmer, after that the following week had to survive in jungle with little food made me lose even more weight.
2 months of slim fit program with crude instructors for me. How nice could it be.

My luck has been going down ever since I joined NS, I do admit that I ever thought of why some people are so lucky to get into airforce or other pretty good vocation. I tried to look on the brighter side of my vocation but it seems to get darker each day as it gets. I pretend to look happy and smile at people around me but I just can't hide my emotions well. I become sadistic towards things. I have no interest in what am I doing now.

Rcc begins tomorrow, think most likely I will fail the course because it is too tough for me. Fail fail la got no choice also since you can't force yourself to do something that is beyond you limit. Why bother, just do what is within your reach, the rest just heck care.
Luckily, the camp is near my house, only training is tough. Well, at least there's something to comfort myself.
My health and life is screwed, everyday training gets tougher and it seems my body cannot take it anymore. I may...perhaps collapse one day.

A week of hectic outfield training has already passed. Tuesday, got my marksman in my ATP which proves I'm a sharpshooter and earned extra $200. Wed and thursday is navex in the jungle, Bashing into jungle and find checkpoints located on trees is like finding a pin in the bottomless sea. 2 consecutive days of navigation in jungle made me lose like 3-4 kg in a week.
But then interesting about the jungle is "grow in the dark" leaves, scorpions crawling around and fishes in the streams.

Update!
Saturday I felt excited to meet jess who just came back from australia somehow coz it has been a year. First met up and I dunno what to say. Haha, perhaps too long never had a conversation.
Then, met up with marcus followed by cherie,jee hui,shermin and finally chin and xp.
We ate at kuishinbo at jp. Food was nice but I think I never eat much coz I am getting old, stomach couldn't take it.
After had a meal, we went to chevron for k session. Shermin never go coz she got marathon and chin went back home to change. Bad thing about chevron is the dress code that we had to wear. Then sing till halfway, gaya and thad came to join us. After k session, we all went to cherie house and create havoc over there. Played ps2 and 3 till 4 plus. Jess went back at 4am. Then I slept from 4am to 9am. Woke up and I felt so shag, then packed up stuff meet at west mall for mc breakfast. Eat liao then, catch transformers movie together with jess at west mall. Met our Lab tech there also. Transformer movie was more of comedy than action thriller movie.
After movie, we go swensens to had our ice cream. Reached home at 4pm plus. And then I had to book in by 2300.

Yesterday and today I was busy settling things regarding my dual citizenship thingy. I had both singapore and chinese citizen and I had to go for renunciation of oath to give up my chinese citizenship. And today I went to immigration center and they told me to get some proof of renunciation from the chinese embassy. But when I reached there it is closed. Holy mother f***ing hell, wasted trip in the end.
Why must I do this even though I am currently serving army. Damn this renunciation thing, now need to find a date to apply for leave.

Yeah today booking out at around 10pm and I will be having off from camp from wed to friday. It is going to be a long weekend. Friday just need to come back to camp for a while and then go back home. Thanks to COC parade and everyone is entitled off. Just need to do marshal duty today.
Next week training is going to be tough. Atp, 6km fast march, navex with fbo. So many things some more need join the newly recruited sergeants for UIP. Zzz chiong sua life is coming soon WTF....... (-_-)
But first enjoy watching movies first, upcoming movie to watch is transformers, captain america, puss in boots, harry potty.
Think I spend too much $ in watching movies for the past 2 months.

Today I had the worst route march. Fast march is too crazy for me. Carrying 20kg of loads with 4kg rife and completed 4km of journey within 35min is seriously killing me. I had this feeling that I won't make it for my RCC. The path of my NS life is turning darker as it gets. Think soon I will have medical problems if this persist on. I should get a clerk job in my unit.

Oh no! Wth! This isn't happening! My bunk has this pokemon craze, it all begins with pokemon emerald on psp and everyone got addicted to it. And now after completion of pokemon games in psp, it's venturing into nds pokemon black and white. Pokemon fever has started and I wonder if I should get a nds. Oh my god. Sometimes it aint about the gameplay but it is the trading of pokemon that makes it interesting. I admit playing pokemon is childish but who cares in Ns everyone is childish.

Hangover 2 was pretty disappointing this time round even though I am late. I find it less funny and there were less content in it this time round. But who cares, at least the movie was popular in the states. Still worth to watch.

Having nights out later... Grrr why my camp is not in jurong. Arrgh, if not I would have went home and relax. Everyday in camp is like doing a bit of physical training then go slack in bunk. A boring life. On the contrary, it would mean I am wasting time in Ns and by the time I knew it, I am gonna ORD. I just hope that everyday is like that.

Alright haha I had like 3 movies within 2 weeks or so. Had been receiving complaints about why I am soo fast to watch movie. Well can't be help coz I just couldn't resist watching nice movies. So what have I watch then? Kungfu panda, pirates of carribean, x men first class. Okay not that much but I believe its gonna get more. Of these three movies I watch kung fu panda still wins, why??? Coz it is too funny wth. Army seriously got no time, therefore every moment if your free go watch some movies to get yourself entertained. Next movie I am gonna watch is hangover 2. Several things that will brighten your days even if your in army. Receiving gift from overseas. It is another feeling, It felt different. It is more surprising than usual. Dunno why I felt so happy. Perhaps I am those kind that can be pleased very easily.

Then having a bit of family tease, interestingly a little bit of quarrel with my sis made my life happier. Strange but true. I think I just care for her too much.
Looking back at old pictures or old videos reminds me of the crazy things I did. It was perhaps to NS that allow me to have so much time to look back of what I had did.

Yesterday went to watch pirates of the Caribbean. Well movie was ok but I think kung fu panda was sooo much nicer compared to pirates. Then we had our dinner at swensens. Received a nicely made mutton photo album. Thanks to fatty for spending her hard work and time. Sang 2 times birthday songs and seriously I was embarrassed at the moment (*_•“). Ordered too much ice cream and ate too much ice cream yesterday, go back unit life sure gone case. Nvm enjoying the trip to heaven first before banishment to hell. Then, take photos and went shopping around. Next, we took a short video clip for bambino before going back home.
Next morning, I woke up at 530am and go ecp for run and later I was told that I am going to bk in at 10pm. Those ppl who haven't got their license can stay out. What the hell, I should have fail my test. Luck changes as I passed my birthday.

Today is my 21st birthday even though I am in camp. But today I can book out early coz I passed my tp test. I guess my luck is at the highest peak. I can even feel the luck aura around me. Passing the traffic police test ain't easy coz many people failed even at the third attempt. Today I had my tp test and I was under the most strict tester. In his life he never pass any people in either theory or tp test. Students under him meant to fail. But incredibly I managed to pass under him. Initially I thought I was gonna die but no I keep driving and I know what I was doing. Whole journey was smooth. Guess luck was by my side. Everyone in the driving center was stunned by the fact. I felt that I was incredible. Truly,a legend.

Failed my first tp test and what I felt was nothing coz I gained or lose nothing from it. What can I do was some remedial training since I still have 1 year 3 months to spend. So why not? Failing again and again, and I will have retest again and again. Anyway even if we passed, it is also not me who is gonna drive. It is my man who is gonna drive.

One side of my arm become darker than my left arm. Thanks to prolong driving under the scorching sun. Now I become Zetsu (half black half white guy from naruto)
Dun feel like passing my traffic police test coz after I passed had to go back unit life and do tough trainings. Not sure if I had the will to continue on but sometimes I felt like I wana down pes and be in administrative works. Keeping fit does not meant tormenting yourself. There are still other ways but I do not prefer my unit ways.

Opera mini is better than BB browser somehow

I felt that i had become lazier. Going to be 1 year already and I felt that I am just living day after day and keep counting down. It is like motivating myself with the mentality that I am one day nearer to my ORD date. Go back to report to camp felt bad every single moment. I really do not enjoy myself doing all stupid things ordered by superior. Ask you do this you do this, ask you do that you do that. See my platoon sergeant kana f by csm we also had to keep quiet and listen to him. Haiz, we are humans not dogs. How I wished tml is my ord date. When I get out of army I am so going to study hard and be at top position so it will be my turn to order people around. It is best to be a predator rather than a prey. Goal and ambition set!

Another update coz I find there is a need to. Politics this time round. Opposition or Ruling party, listening who to vote for proves people are still concern about the politics and this time round election proves a big deal compared to past elections. Why people want to vote for opposition? The true fact about voting is we citizens want to see changes that could benefit our lives. Most mps before elections promised here promised that but end up doing nothing. If that is the case if which ever party wins the constitution that means that the mp had been doing a good job. But however if opposition manages to take over, It just simply means that your F**k up and new people have to take over. So I believe people vote because they are dissatisfied how the party works. It works just like a survey, happy or not happy?
And lastly I believe voting is not confidential since every vote must be registered into the computer for data verification. Being skeptical is better because you could never trust a person of what he says until you see hard facts

I forget to blog about this issue. There are only two types of well known fruits phones available in the current market. Frankly speaking, apple phones are seriously much better than berry phones. The difficulty in using berry phones is that the parts in SG are hard to find and the apps are usually mostly useless. Processor speed of berry phones still remain at 600mhz. Worst of all OS 7 is only available in latest bb phones 9900 series. Even the speed of bb 9900 series is slower than samsung galaxy phones, needless to say iphones. RIM company should be more aware of its rival companies. Haiz, I am truly disappointed with RIM products specifications. And I just dun get it why ppl buy bb phones, is it just for the keyboard? Sorry for those who support bb phones but I am just stating facts from sources

Haiz I hate driving during rain, sure hong gan one. Driving can be fun but seriously it needs the both driver and instructors with good temperament control. Coz road rage is not caused by you but the instructors. Haiz raining plus someone sitting beside you keep niam you can really increase your rage. But what to do, you can only drive and just filter off content. Seriously, only hear the good things. A good will of advice before entering driving school go play some driving simulator games online before you go into driving course

Yesterday went to jb, reached kranji at 10am, waited and queued there for almost 2 hours time.
Then, waited for another 2 hours through the customs. In the end took about a whooping 4 hours to just get to jb city square plaza.
The hungry ghosts then went off to nando for lunch. Ordered jumbo size meal but to the guys, it felt like appetitizer.
After late lunch, went off to ksl city through taking cab. (The girls gang are easy target to get cheated off by the taxi driver.)
Ksl city got little stuffs but I managed to brought a casing for my blackberry. The rest shopped for clothes and bags.
Then next stop, we went to pelarangi plaza for some grilling stuffs. Sizzling dishes, cannot eat beef, ostrich meat taste like pork + duck meat.
Then, went to cold storage to buy cooking oil and YES
5kg of COOKING OIL!
5kg of nonsensical stuff were brought to customs freely and i never get caught amazingly and miraculously.
Then reached home at 12am and slept at 1am, woke up at 5am. And I am shag.

Driving course.
Yesterday had cool fun ride along the circuit road in a jeep but sadly to say it is a manual car. Then today do driving simulation, cyclist bang into me and I was deducted for points ZZZ no logic. Driving was smooth somehow but then no power steering makes it hard to steer properly. Saturday got mock test need to memorise a lot of stuffs if not RT somemore must get 94/100. Tml even better, out to malaysia with dbt woots.

Yesterday night when I was doing prowling around transport area, I heard noises of "tweet tweet" (not sounds of birds but somewhat alien type of noises) and I asked my buddy if he heard these noises. He said no and then the next moment we felt a cold chill and my buddy began to feel uncomfortable. Ended up we took a detour and move away from the dark places. When we are back at guard house, he told me several things I should observe during prowling, see or hear anything dun talk, just walk away. I dunno anything about the ghost stories of my camp. But several prowlers had already seen that thing. My buddy said if we continued on we would bump into one. Well frankly, I had never bump into one.

It's 8am in the sunday morning and there I am doing guard duty in an old camp. Saturday night was so "awesome". Entire company block doesn't even have a single soul. It felt as if it was abandoned 20 years ago. Corridors were pitch black, accompanied along with dripping waters that came from yesterday rain. Vending machine were on near the stairs and all bunks along corridors were open. It seems to be an eerie night staying alone in a bunk with no one to talk to. Having to do guard duty on weekends seriously do suck.

Several facts I found out about mosquitoes. Mosquitoes are irritating creatures that once they spotted their target, they won't change their target easily. Pesky little stuffs!
Mosquitoes don't just bite legs or arms. They bite even the most sensitive areas like even the lips or your face. (Got slightly swollen lips coz of one bite)
Covering your face with blanket doesn't work that effectively coz of difficulty with breathing. (I have tried covering but heard buzzing sound attacking my ear)
Best way to prevent mosquitoes from attacking you during the night. Put insect repellent near exposed areas. (Which what I did and there it goes a peaceful sleep)

Good thing is stay out but bad thing is I stay so far and driving area is at paya lebar. Then now sundays burned! Oh no no.
